New Agency, Same Kate

On a trip to Yellowstone last year with my family, I saw a sign that I haven’t been able to shake. Basically, it said that ‘CHANGE IS THE ONLY CONSTANT IN LIFE.’

I’ve been thinking about that sign a lot lately as I prepare for this big change in my career. I’m excited to announce that after 5 ½ years with Keller Williams, I am transitioning over to Big Sky Sotheby’s International Realty. While I can’t help but be a little scared (because change is always scary, right?), I know in my heart this is the best decision for me both professionally and personally.

I’m incredibly grateful to the folks at Keller Williams for their support over the years. I started there in August 2012 as a licensed assistant, working for a top producing agent whose work exposed me to over 100 transactions per year. That’s a lot! Typical agents were doing about 25-35 transactions a year, which means I received a great education during that time. After three years in that role, I stepped out on my own. Since then I have developed my own unique way of doing things and have enjoyed being on my own.

I decided to make the switch to Big Sky Sotheby’s International Realty for a few reasons. First, it has a proven presence in the Big Sky community, which will allow me to better support my clients there. Also, Big Sky Sotheby’s International Realty has a growing presence in Bozeman, after opening its office here in November 2016. Here, I’ll be one of seven agents. I love the small, intimate setting.

Big Sky Sotheby’s International Realty also gives me a platform to provide innovative marketing tools to my clients, which will provide them with a better experience. Big Sky Sotheby’s International Realty’s cutting edge technology coupled with its 250-year heritage means I’ll be able to offer you the best tools along with the backing of a proven international real estate and auction company.

Finally, Big Sky Sotheby’s International Realty provides me with day-to-day support that will allow me to focus on the aspects of this job that I truly enjoy. I’ll have more quality time to spend with clients and more time to dedicate to looking at and researching properties to find you the best match possible. What I love so much about my job is sitting down with people face to face and giving them everything they need to make a decision that they will feel good about at the end of the day.

The Big Sky Sotheby’s International Realty brand echoes my own beliefs and feels like the right fit for me. Recently, they unveiled their new “LIVE” campaign, which is centered around the idea that your best life begins with a home that inspires you. It’s stunning

To better align myself with the Sotheby’s brand, I’m making a slight brand identity switch. I’m the same Kate you’ve come to know, but I feel this visual shift is a great representation of this new change. The biggest change you may notice is the use of midnight blue in place of red. It’s the blue used by Sotheby’s. I think embracing the Sotheby’s blue is a great visual representation of how I am embracing this move.

You can continue to keep up with me on my website here and on social media. You can find me in person at my new office at 2000 S. 3rd Avenue in Bozeman. I hope to see you soon!
